Peppa Pig helps kiddos get ready for Back to School

Peppa Pig has to be the sweetest little piggy ever!  I think she is absolutely adorable and I love that her show promotes family and good values.

Now for those of you thinking well this is a girl show right?  The answer is no my 4 year old son LOVES miss Peppa!  In a few short weeks we start school again Quinn will do his 2nd year of preschool and Brandon is going to 2nd grade.  Brandon is mad and wants to stay home, but Quinn is nervous!  There will be new kiddos in his class and they may not like him.  I want to reach out and give him a hug and tell him that he will make lots of friends.

I do know though that at any age going somewhere new can be scary.  So as much as I want to help my little guy I know no matter what I do he will still be a bit nervous.
I was happy to get the Peppa Pig School Bus Trip dvd.  It made him feel a lot better and He thinks it is great that Peppa even has to go to school :)

Lovable little Peppa Pig is getting ready to go back to school – and so can your family and readers nationwide! – with the DVD release of Peppa Pig: School Bus Trip – available August 4 from Entertainment One!

The colorful new title will be releasing as a special DVD + Scholastic Mini Book Gift Set.
It will also be available for Digital Download.

In the Peppa Pig: School Bus Trip DVD, Peppa and her school friends take a trip to the mountains, where she and her classmates have fun hearing echoes, having a picnic, and singing their favorite tune on the bus ride home – the “Bing Bong Song.” Back at school, Peppa attends gym class, acts in the school play, participates in sports day, and much more! Young viewers will love these hilarious adventures filled with lots of snorts, laughter, sunshine, and of course, jumping in muddy puddles!

The “peppasodes” include:
    “School Bus Trip”
     “The School Camp”
   “Gym Class”
 “School Play”
  “Mister Skinnylegs”
     “Jamble Sale”
     “The Quarrel”
   “Madame Gazelle’s Leaving Party”
   “The Library”

Airing on Nick Jr., Peppa Pig follows the adventures of Peppa, a loveable, exuberant little piggy who lives with her brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig.  PeppaPig episodes are available on DVD, and for download on iTunes and Amazon Instant Video.

We love Peppa Pig in my home she is sweet and also makes my kiddos smile.  If you have a little one getting ready to go back to school Peppa Pig School Bus Trip is perfect to put that at ease and make them even excited to start a new year!

Origami Owl Custom Jewelry: Say it With Charms

Origami Owl Custom Jewelry: Say it With Charms

When my hubby and I first started to go out he would buy me lots of jewelry.  I mean he would spend $700 on a necklace, I would smile, I loved the fact he was thinking about me and buying me these pretty things.
And I will be honest I love and still have each and ever thing he bought me.  I cherish everything he gives me.
I didn't have the heart to tell him though....  I like unique jewelry.  One of my sister and mine favorite thing to do is go to craft shows and find unique pieces.  Something that has meaning and isn't something that everyone else is going to be wearing.
I like jewelry that shows off my personality.
Recently my sister kept telling me about Origami Owl's new charm lockets.  She told me they have hundreds of charms I can pick from and make my something unique and 100% me.

Knowing my sister's habit of over exaggerating I had to check them out for myself.  And for once she wasn't fibbing!  They have a charm for everything and make it possible to tell your story through jewelry!
They have stars, letters, beach/ocean, sports, teams, family, food, animals and so much more!
Ever had an amazing trip to the beach that you never wanted to forget?  You can make a beach themed charmed locket.  Have a friend that is getting married?  Get her a locket filled with charms that remind you of her.
Speaking of getting married they even have cute Mrs and Mr charms!
You can tell any story you want and you can do it with a stylish charm locket.

To start you have to buy a locket front and back (Base and face.)  Next you need to pick a chain.  I am horrible at this, I can never tell how long it is going to be.
I ordered with Lorie (Her website will be at the bottom of the post) and I was amazed at how helpful she was!  I told her about where I wanted it to set and she talked me through it and help me find the perfect chain.

Next you pick your charms.  Now this part was hard there are so many to choose from!  I picked two to start.  I can keep filling my locket as I go, but I wanted to start off with two.  Oh and they are so affordable each charm is only $5.  The charms are about the size of an eraser at the end of a pencil.  So you can fit a lot into your locket.
I ended up choosing:
The Compass
and
The Gold Watch Gear

Okay so for a few of you wondering what kind of story does that tell??
I think they are unique!
I'm weird, I'm different and I don't always fit into the "normal" category.
Growing up my dad always told me "I think you have a loose gear."  As a child that horrified me!  I thought there was something wrong with me, lol.  As an adult I realize that he just meant I was different.  My dad never meant it in a cruel way, it was his own way of telling me I was unique.
When I look at the gear in my locket I think of my dad and all the times he told me I had a loose gear.
And speaking of unique it is also why I choose the Compass.  All too many times in life it always felt being "normal" would be easier. I wont fib I even tried it as a teenager...  Laughed at things that weren't funny, watch movies that the other girls were watching, ate strange food, dressed in clothing I hated and had the most boring conversations of my life...
I WAS MISERABLE!
At one point I decided it wasn't worth it.  Strangely enough it was the Dr. Suess quote "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind" that made me realize I needed to start living my life in a way that made me happy.  I am weird, I am awkward and it was okay!
No I don't want to watch the Notebook I want to watch Lord of The Rings!  I don't think salad is really a food, I want some cheese fries with bacon please.  Heck lets make it a meal and throw some ranch on top.  I don't want to get my nails done the Colts are playing.
(This last one is for my hubby....) I don't care that it is 4am when James Franco and Seth Rogen are hilarious!  And their movies must be quoted as loud as possible.
It is funny.... even at 4 am, even when you have work the next day and my over the top shaking the bed from laughing/snorting has woken you up....   Okay maybe me slapping you on the back and repeating it ten times was over the top ;).  lol
So I choose the compass because it reminds me to always choose my own path, not the one I think others would want me to take, but the one that makes me happy.

I have two little weirdos for kiddos too, so I am glad that I can always helps them be the people the want to be.  Instead of the people other want them to be.

So what story do my charms tell?
"I'm a loose gear, but it is okay I choose this path!"

Do you have a story to tell?
Tell it with Origami Owl Custom Jewelry!  Make one of a kind pieces that represent you.
And please consider using Lorie, she was amazing to work with and super helpful.

Wiggles 3D: Family Game Night

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own

Wiggles 3D: Family Game Night

One thing you can count on is once a week, every week the Miller house hold hosts a family game night!  Now sometimes it is just the 4 of us.  Other nights we can have up to twenty people here!
But we have quite the game collection and no matter what age you are we have a game for you.  The kids love it as does the rest of the family.

It is rare that my hubby and I don't walk down the game isle at the store.  We are always looking for a new fun game to share with everyone.

So last week when I told my hubby to skip the game isle he gave me a weird look.  I just smiled.... Little did he know that we had a package coming from Wiggles 3D!
Wiggles 3D offer Board games, apps, and daily email accessible puzzles and printables for kids of all ages. Many of the games go from board to app and printable all in one, or can be used independently. Board games include: Bellz, LexigoRUSH, Eye Know, and AvA Challenger. Apps include: Venn, Quote Slide, Eye Know, and LexigoRUSH. Web includes various “Don’t Quote Me” mobile games and printables.

Okay I could list every game offered by Wiggles 3D, but it would take up an entire post :).  So I want to focus of the super fun family friendly games I was personally able to review.

This game is both fun inside and out!  First you get a super cute stuffed animal!  Either Monkey's Wild or Frantic Frog.
We were able to review Frantic Frog.  Kids have a blast trying to grab the frog in time.  What you do is match the cards, the little frog gets "anxious" when there is a match so all the kiddos have to try and grab him.  The first one to grab him wins.  You can then put him back and start over again.  Seeing who gets his the most.  The game is for kiddos 3+ and takes about 10 minutes at most.
And guess what parents the larger frog holds the entire games!  You don't have to worry about losing the pieces.
My kiddos had a blast and even the hubby and I kinda competed to see who could grab the little frog first.
It was fun for everyone.

Next up was:

Fingers tips is 3 card games in one.  It comes in both animal and people versions.  This game again is a matching game.  We reviewed the animal game.  It has 40 cards (Shaped as hands) and their is 15 fun animals characters.  Each hand has five different characters and you have to find the match for your card.  It is for 3+ and can have 1-5 players.  I love that it can be played by 1 player.  Some days I need to get stuff done around the house and Brandon Jr is at some activity and Quinn is left to his own devices.  It is nice to know that my little man can entertain himself with this game.  Oh and another huge plus parents is it can be played in the car!!  Whoot I am all for a nice peaceful car trip :)

Get ready parents I am about to say two words that gets all kids excited... Pirates Vs Ninjas!  Yup you read right there is really a game out there that takes two of my boys favorite things and has them battling.  LOL so this is a two player dice game you test your skill in a fast dice battle.  You need both lucky and strategy on your side to win this game.
So you roll the dice all 9 of them.  You look and sort your dice by rank.  Whom ever has the most rank 1 goes first.  You have to decided if you are going to attack or rally.  If you lose a piece during an attack you place it off to the side.  This continues until one player loses all their dice.
It is for 8+  and my hubby and I actually enjoy the game a lot too! It in a way reminds me of a dice Risk game.
The Pirate and Ninjas are just one of the choices you can also purchase:
Army vs. Aliens
Robots Vs. Dinosaurs
Zombies vs. Wrestlers

Okay so I know you think my family is all games out now... WRONG!  I did mention we are kinda game fanatics right?

Next up was

This is a 2+ player game and for players 8+
You have 60 seconds to find as many words as you can using the titles in the grid.  But you have to use words no one else has.  Every round score doubles are added to the grid.  So my oldest is about to enter 2nd grade...  This was my sneaky way of helping him learn and play a game at the same time.  He had no clue that he was practicing spelling :)
It is so much fun though, you race the clock and try to find as many words as possible.  It gets even more interesting when the doublers are added.  You really try to make words using those letters so you can get double the points and really rank up your score.
This is something the whole family can play and you can have as many players as you wish!

So this game comes in a travel pouch!  So yes readers another travel friendly game (You can never have enough of these when you have rowdy kids in the car.)  What you do is take you magnetic wand and pick up as many bells in your color as possible.  You can form a cluster or a long string of bells.  If you get a different color your turn is over.  You decided how long your turn last.  The first player to get 10 bells wins/

I normally don't play favorites, but okay this one was kinda my favorite!
This game is for 12+, so even though my kiddos couldn't play it was still my favorite.  The games comes with 900 questions, 300 image cards and a game board.  You choose an image card once you identify that image you have a chance to claim the card by answering one of the three question on the back.  The images are all well know people, animals, monuments, inventions, symbols, maps and so much more.  It was fun testing our knowledge and I liked that you got to choose what you know :)

These games I reviewed are only a few offered by Wiggles 3D!  Everything on their site is family friendly.  Why not make your next famliy game night a blast and try one of the many awesome games they offer

My Buddy Tag: A parenting must have

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

My Buddy Tag: A parenting must have

Losing a child is the worst feeling in the world!  My boys like to pretend the clothing racks at stores are meant for hide and seek....
This mama isn't so fond of that game.  One day Quinn thought it would be really funny not to come out when I said his name.  This led to me dropping everything in my arms and screaming his name and running about the store in a panic.  And I don't use the word panic lightly because it really and truly felt as if I were having a full blown panic attack.

It was the worst feeling and I really and truly would not wish it on anyone.  Thankfully mine lasted all of 5 minutes when Brandon Jr discovered him hiding (Exactly where I was standing when I first said his name.)

I know the feeling though and I don't ever want to feel it again.  Which is why I'm excited and kinda proud to feature an item on my blog today that will help parents avoid this feeling and have a sense of control.

My Buddy Tag is a wearable child safety wristband that helps prevent lost child AND accidental drowning. Designed so that it cannot be easily removed by a child or predator, Buddy Tag is the only one on the market that serves dual functionality, and will soon house additional features that are also unique to this product.

Some of the amazing features are:

Proximity Alert System
BuddyTag alarms you when your child is out of your proximity.

iPhone and Android Compatible
BuddyTag works with iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S and Samsung Galaxy S4 & Note 3 using Android version 4.3 only.

Personal ID
Child ID in BuddyTag wristband helps reunite your child with you if separated.

Panic Button
Conveniently located on wristband. Alerts at the touch of a button. Perfect for private and public areas or threatening circumstances.

Kid Friendly
This unique product comes in stylish wristbands. Easy to wear even for your infant.

Water Safety Feature
BuddyTag alerts you when it is submersed in water for about 10 seconds or more, and helps prevent accidental drowning!

 Email with Last Seen Location
Emails you the time and map locations when your child was last seen by BuddyTag App. Perfect for parents with a nanny taking the kids out for activities!

Keeping our kids safe is every parents number one priority!  They can be purchased both online and in certain stores.  I don't know about you, but I would sure love the peace of mind knowing that with a simple band I can locate my child instantly.  I use my phone for so many dumb things, why not use it for something important?

Back-To-School with Caillou

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review. I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Caillou Goes Back to School

DVD & Bonus Book

My boys are so enjoying their summer.  This week alone they beat me in mini golf, went to the pool and even had an ice-cream party.  We caught fire flies, our pumpkin plants have started to sprout, we got fireworks and we had a cookout.

Now I am all about the fun!  I'm am terrified of the summer slide though.
My boys worked super hard last year in preschool and first grade.  I don't want them to forget everything the learned.  I don't want to be that annoying mom who is shoving learning at them all the time.  So I sneaky do it :)
By having fun, because according to my boys it isn't learning if it is fun.... Right??
Shhhh if you don't tell them neither will I.
Recently I found a new way to learn and have fun with Caillou's new Goes Back to School collection.  It helps kids to learn about reading, imagination, nature and art.

“CAILLOU GOES BACK TO SCHOOL DVD + BOOK” will be released on July 28, just in time for the new school year. This bundle features two items – the DVD “Caillou Goes Back to School,” which includes 12 stories, and an illustrated bonus book about riding the school bus.

“CAILLOU GOES BACK TO SCHOOL DVD + BOOK offers two fun-filled ways to interact with Caillou and get kids into the back-to-school mindset.
The DVD contains special features including a game and printable coloring pages. The stories included on the DVD are listed below.

“Caillou the Librarian” Caillou is excited about showing Rosie the ropes when they visit the library. During storytime Caillou imagines he’s in the story, riding on a dolphin. Later he and Rosie argue over a book and accidentally tear it. He doesn’t want to tell the librarian, but finally musters up the courage to do so. The librarian turns out to be very nice and he helps her fix the book. And Rosie gets her very own library card!
“Caillou the Bookworm” Returning home from the library Caillou is very eager to sit down and enjoy his pirate book. Unfortunately it’s a very busy day and he’s having trouble finding a quiet place to look at his book. Caillou finally finds the perfect place – in his closet! By the light of his flashlight he finally gets to enjoy his book and pretends he’s the pirate in the story digging up a buried treasure.
“Caillou the Storyteller” It’s a rainy day at playschool and the children can’t go outside. Caillou makes up a funny story about a superhero who makes the rain stop – it’s Super Caillou! He tells the story to Jeffrey and Jason, and Miss Martin suggests he make his own storybook. She writes the story down and Caillou draws the pictures. By the time Mommy comes to pick him up, Caillou has his very own book to show her! “Magnet Madness” Caillou is playing with the fridge magnets and learns lots of things about them. About what they stick to and what they don’t stick to – such as Gilbert! He even imagines himself as a human magnet superhero. In the end Caillou is able to apply what he’s learned and uses a magnet to help Daddy retrieve a metal peg from behind the workbench.
“Caillou the Dinosaur Hunter” The whole family goes on a trip to the natural history museum to look at the dinosaurs. Caillou is really enjoying himself looking at the skeletons and learning about the different kinds of dinosaurs. When he momentarily loses the others he knows enough to stay put until Mommy comes back and finds him. And when he realizes he’s left Rexy somewhere he learns about the lost and found, and retraces his steps until he finds his dinosaur friend.
“Caillou the Astronaut” Caillou wants to play with both his friends Clementine and Xavier in the playschool playground. Unfortunately Clementine wants to play bears and Xavier wants to play astronauts, and a little argument ensues. At story time Miss Martin tells them more about spaceships and astronauts and Caillou imagines he’s zooming around the galaxy exploring stars and planets. Back outside Caillou makes up a new astronaut and bear game so everyone can play together.
“Caillou Goes Shopping” Caillou’s crayons are all worn down or broken, so Mommy suggests a trip to the store for some new ones. Caillou helps Mommy remember what she needs to buy – he remembers the list of items by making a little song out of them. When they’re done they run into Sarah, and Caillou helps her find all her back to school supplies.
“Caillou Goes Apple Picking” Caillou’s playschool is on a special field trip to an apple orchard. The children really enjoy learning about apples and picking them too. Caillou imagines himself picking the biggest apple in the whole world. Afterwards they enjoy some fresh apple juice. By the time they get back on the bus to go home, Caillou and his friends are all ready for a little nap!
“Caillou’s Halloween Costume” Halloween is coming and it’s time to pick out a costume to wear. Soon Rosie has three costumes she wants to wear, but Caillou still hasn’t decided on what he wants to be. And time is running out! Finally a piece of blue fake fur gives him a great idea – he’ll be a blue monster! His parents help him fashion an odd but effective monster costume out of bits and pieces they find around the house. When Leo and Clementine arrive they agree that Caillou is a very scary-looking monster indeed! “Caillou’s Present” Mommy’s having a bad day – first she can’t find her car keys, then she and Caillou have to shovel the car out, and then the car won’t start! At playschool Caillou decides to make her a present to cheer her up. His first two attempts don’t turn out but he perseveres and makes her a picture of a sun – to melt all the snow!
“Caillou the Chef” Jeffrey and Jason are coming over for dinner – it’s a make-your-own pizza party! Caillou feels he is an expert at this and starts to show them how to do it. When the twins both opt for less-than-traditional ingredients Caillou is upset that they’re doing it all wrong. In the end, however, their pizzas turn out just fine and Caillou learns that everyone has their own unique way of doing things.
“Caillou the Painter” Caillou’s got a brand new painting shirt and decides to paint something for Grandma. He has a little trouble deciding what to paint. He wants to use all his colors and paint all his favorite shapes. Mommy tells him that paintings don’t have to be about something and he proceeds to make his own abstract painting! Meanwhile Rosie and Daddy are pressing a flower for Grandma. When Grandma arrives she is thrilled with her very artistic gifts.

DANIEL GOES TO SCHOOL

DANIEL GOES TO SCHOOL

Hit PBS KIDS Series DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD Helps Children Develop Key Social and Emotional Skills for School and Life

PBS Distribution announced it is releasing eight stories from The Fred Rogers Company’s popular PBS KIDS series DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD on the new DVD,

“DANIEL GOES TO SCHOOL,” available starting August 18, 2015.
Young fans can join Daniel Tiger and his friends as they head to school, where they discover that learning and using your imagination is grr-ific fun! “DANIEL GOES TO SCHOOL” includes fun-filled tales that will get kids excited about school and learning.

Some of the important lessons kids will learn from the adventures on “DANIEL GOES TO SCHOOL” include: everyone’s job is important and we all help in different ways, and, if you’re not successful at first, keep trying, and you’ll get better!

The DVD has a run time of approximately 100 minutes.
The “DANIEL GOES TO SCHOOL” DVD includes the following stories:

A Trip to the Crayon Factory
Daniel Tiger, Miss Elaina, and Katerina Kittycat take a fun trip to the factory to see how crayons are made but, O the Owl can’t come because he’s sick. At the factory, the kids watch the crayons being made, and Daniel looks and listens closely. Daniel has an idea to take pictures at the factory and give them to O at the end of the day, so that O can learn about crayons too!
Be a Vegetable Taster!
Teacher Harriet introduces Daniel and his friends to the school’s vegetable garden and convinces them to pick out some healthy veggies for their snack. They explore the garden, picking and trying different vegetables…with mixed results!
Line Leader Daniel
The children are getting new classroom jobs at school. Daniel really wants to be line leader! When he doesn’t get the job he wanted, Daniel is disappointed. Soon he learns that all of the jobs are necessary to keep the classroom running smoothly.
Problem Solver Daniel
Daniel and Miss Elaina are playing with the blocks at school but they each want to build something different. They call Teacher Harriet over to help fix the problem, but she tells them to work out a solution without her. They do, and feel proud that they can figure things out all by themselves.
The Class Votes
At school, Daniel and his classmates get to choose their new class pet! Teacher Harriet explains that they can either get a bunny or a turtle. The kids learn what it means to “vote” and that sometimes it doesn’t always turn out your way. Luckily, ALL of the kids find something to love about their new pet, “Snowball”!
O Builds a Tower
In the block corner at school, O the Owl is determined to use all of the blocks to build the tallest tower in the world. After many failed attempts, he is frustrated, but Teacher Harriet and O’s friends encourage him to try once again.
Play Pretend
Teacher Harriet shows the children a big cardboard box and asks them what they think it could be. Daniel and Miss Elaina have fun pretending the box is a space ship and a jungle boat, but O the Owl just sees a big cardboard box. With a little help from his friends, O discovers how much fun it is to pretend!
Safety Patrol
Today at school, the children are learning about traffic signs. Prince Tuesday comes for a special visit, wearing his crossing guard uniform. He takes the class on a walk through the Neighborhood and they practice their safety rules all along the way.

I don't know about your kiddos, but mine are kinda bummed to go back to school!  This is so weird for me, because previous years they were excited to go back and see their friends.  They need a little help getting excited about school again and thanks to PBS I think they will will!  Even though I reviewed Daniel Goes To school PBS also offers other DVDS to help kiddos get pumped for school and excited to see their friends and learn fun new things.
The release date is August 18 so its perfect timing for Back To school time!  The episodes are heartfelt and fun leaving viewers of all ages smiling :)

Sharing Small

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid in anyway to write this review.  All opinions are my own.

Sharing Small

At the age of 4 and 7 getting a package in the mail is exciting!  Every time I get a box or envelope my boys rush over to see if by some chance their names happen to be on the front.  It never is, even though sometimes the stuff inside is for them.

Recently I contacted Sharing Small a Sock subscription company to do a review.  When they offered to address the package to my boys I smiled, because they get it!  They understand that small things like that will put a huge smile on a little one's face.  So even before the socks arrived I already liked the company.

So let me know tell you a bit about the company.  You are not only getting a pair of socks, you are also getting a small adventure.  Wondering what I mean?

Two new pairs of socks featuring the Sharing Small Explorers on a fun adventure, with new designs each month!
A matching postcard from the Explorers talking about their most recent adventure!  And my boys socks even came with matching stickers.

I loved that they postcard told my boys all about the explorers recent adventure.  So the little stick figures on the front now had personality!

Now my boys have socks with a back story!  And yes you would be impressed with how many people the have told about their snow skiing socks.

Why do I think a sock subscription, is a great idea?
Well if your kiddos are like mine, they go through socks like crazy.  Every week ours have holes in the toes or dirty bottoms.  I can't sew them or clean them fast enough.  And then we have Rufus who seems to think socks is a french dessert, meant to be enjoyed on a weekly bases....

So getting 2 new pairs a month is kind of a life saver.

Other benefits?
For every pair of socks your child receives, they donate a pair to a child in need.  I don't know about you, but I sure like shopping with companies who give back.

Price:
It is $10 a month.  You get 2 pairs of socks, so it is like paying $5 a pair.  Now keep in mind you also get the other stuff in your package.  Not to mention the smiles you are sure to get from your kiddos when they get a package each month.

Quality:
Love them, they are made of 75% Cotton, 23% spandex and 2% elastic.  The mostly cotton material holds up great on little feet.  My boys are like little furies and some days I don't think they sit down for more then 2 minutes.  I needs socks that can hold up to their busy feet and Sharing Small seems to have the right combination to do that!

They do come in several sizes, so you are sure to find your little ones needs.

They ship once a month, and come right to your door step.  So no need to go out shopping.

Stay younger, longer

Disclaimer:  I was given products in this post for the purpose of review.  I was not paid to write this review.  All opinions are my own

Carapex

I am going to start this post by giving you a challenge.  Go back to your bathroom pick up the first beauty product you see and read the ingredients...
Yeah not to pretty huh?  My little sister struggles with eczema, for those of you thinking oh so she has dry skin you are wrong.  My sisters hands break out in rough patches of skin so sever they often crack open.  My sister can't go to the dentist with out her face breaking out in this "dry skin"  and she has to be careful of every single product she uses.  Heck doing the dishes even cause her pain.
Since I started my blog I have made it my personal mission to help find products that she can use.
I know I challenged you to read the back of the first beauty product.  Now I want to tell you 1/2 of the things you read my sister cant use.  And even though I don't have eczema I often wondered is this hurting my skin too?
The answer is yes!  Over time these harsh chemicals will damage your skin cells or your hair.

But what if I told you there was a company that offered products who tried to use mostly natural ingredients?  A company that has cracked the code on what ingredients can help us to look younger, longer?  That takes items that normally were only available to the rich and have made them affordable to everyone?

I have found said company and can't wait to tell you all about them.
Carapex products are formulated with natural and nutritious ingredients to help balance the body and the senses. They use natural and wildcrafted herbs and essential oils from their native regions around the world. They make sure to only use the strict minimum amount of artificial ingredients necessary when no natural option exists.

And that don't stop there they make them affordable!  Wondering what kind of products they offer?
Well just to name a few
hand & foot products
facial products
body care products
hair products
and so much more!
And they offer several choices in each category.  Now I could list everything they have, but it would take forever :)  So I will focus on the four items I was personally able to review.

Pure Mauve Invigorating Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner

Contains high content of pure Australian Tea Tree Oil to clarify your scalp and calms itchiness.  SLS free Shampoo thoroughly cleanses your hair and scalp, leaving no residue Silicon free Conditioner instantly tames frizzy, brittle hair, returning your hair's natural body and shine.
It's gentle formula softly cares for your hair and is suitable for all hair types.

 Sulfate-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free!
Um yeah pretty awesome right!
And I don't know how many of you have ever smelled Tea Tree before, but it is one of my FAVORITE scents for beauty products.  It has a real earthy woodsy smell.  And if you have a minute pull up google and do a search for all the benefits of Tea Tree Oil...  You are going to be pretty impressed :)
I used this on my hair for 1 week at this point and I'm pretty impressed not only with the shine, but also with the super clean feeling!  No itchy scalp and my hair doesn't feel heavy.  I have thick hair so I have to be careful on what products I put into it.  I even left my sister have the rest of my bottles and she has not had enough break out issues!
So huge plus for making my hair shiny and health and for also being gentle enough for my sister's skin!
Okay since we are on the subject of Tea Tree Oil let me tell you about the next product I was able to review.

This product was Specially designed to be gentle and moisturizing, but to also thoroughly cleanses skin!  It helps to clear up all types of skin issues.
With soft circle motions you can gently wash away grease, grime, makeup, and impurities.  The Tea Tree leaves your skin feeling clean, supple and smooth!  I love that the Tea Tree seems to have a soothing, cooling effect!
We all have those days when we wake up and our face just feels like BLAH.  I want something to wake me up and take that horrible rosiness from my cheeks.  With this soothing, cooling sensation it helps to calm the most distressed inflammation!
Giving my face a fresh supple look.

It contains pure Australian tea tree oil, aloe vera, cucumber, green tea and chamomile extracts and much more!
Yeah these are things I would pay top dollar for at the spa.  Yet thanks to Carapex I can use them for a fraction of the cost in the comfort of my own home.
Oh and I noticed if I use it after my shower (When my skin is all tight feeling) it helps to loosen it up and makes my face feel soft instead of tight :)

Okay so I know I impressed you with the Tea Tree oil products.  The lovely people at Carapex sent me one final product to review.  Now I dont like to play favorites, but my feet are having a heck of a time this summer. (I have a bad habit of walking barefoot in the grass)  So this next items has been a much needed relief for my tired, dry feet.

Embrace the instant relief for your cracked heels, dry feet offered by our Foot Super Moisturizing Butter Cream. Using natural shea butter and cocoa butter as the base.
It has a rich thickness, but is not greasy at all!  Which is great since I like to put it on right before bed.  I would hate to see greasy footprints all over my sheets!  It has a real nice smooth buttery texture.  I love that it instantly moisturizes, soothes and calms my feet!
Provides fast relief for cracked, dry, scaly feet, helps soften callus
